This walkthrough will help you set up AVG antivirus from Grisoft to check for
updates daily.
- Click Start
- Point to All Programs
- Locate "AVG 6.0 Anti-Virus System" on the menu (If it's not there, you
don't have AVG Anti-Virus installed.
Go here to get it.)
- Click "AVG Control Center" as shown in the picture below
- In the window that opens, click the "Update Manager" tab. We've shown
the window below and circled the tab to show you where to look.
- Compare your settings to those shown below. The time listed next to
"Update will start at:" should be set to a time you know your computer will
be on, even if you don't turn it on every day. All other settings should be
set as shown.
You should now be protected and receive the latest updates each day. Since
new viruses are discovered daily, this is very important.
