To set up the Beonex Communicator to stop most popup ads, you have to disable the "open unrequested windows" permission.

1. Start Beonex Communicator. You will get a screen similar to this.

2. Click the Edit menu.

3. Click the Preferences option to open the preferences window.

4. Under Category in the Preferences window, double-click the Advanced category to open it.

5. Under the Advanced category, click Scripts & Plugins

6. Under "Allow webpages to:", make sure that "open unrequested windows" is not checked.

7. Click OK and now most pop-up ads will be stopped when you use this browser to surf the web.
