To find out which Service Pack (if any) you have in Windows XP, regardless of which edition you have, whether Home, Professional, Tablet, or Media Center:

• Click Start
• Right-Click My Computer
• Click Properties
• Look in the System Properties dialog box, which should look like the following:

Underneath the "Version 2002" line will be your Service Pack level. If you have the latest service pack installed, it will say "Service Pack 2", even though the illustration above shows Service Pack 1.

• Click Cancel or the Close Button to close the window
